Wether heard on classic recordings or the modern concert stage, traditional rawhide drumheads have a tone, sensitivity, and feel that modern plastic heads have been trying to replicate for decades. Our goal at Bovid Percussion is to maintain the traditional skills of lapping rawhide drumheads for the future and offer players of today an opportunity to experience the sound and feel of drumming history.
